Nice and refreshing grapefruit paloma with a little bit fizz. Amazing drink for spring and summer!

Nice and refreshing grapefruit paloma with a little bit fizz. Amazing drink for spring and summer!

And just like that SUMMER is here!

I take my little munchkin for a walk every day, and afternoons are getting super hot. So today we decided to walk in the morning. And man, is it hot already, like 70 degrees HOT! All I want now is this cool and refreshing grapefruit paloma!

Guys, I made this last night for happy hour (it’s a thing around here), and let me tell ya, it’s super good. You only need 3 ingredients: grapefruits, lime flavored soda water and tequila. Good thing I juiced like 6 grapefruits yesterday and I’ll get to enjoy some of this deliciousness tonight again. After all, it’s Cinco de Mayo. Speaking of which, what are you making??? I’m seeing so much guacamole on social media today and I’m definitely making some. And these cocadas have been insanely popular on the blog last couple of days. Are you making those too?

Anyway, back to the drink… This recipe is actually from the fellow food blogger/beverage aficionado, Stacey Bryant. Together with her husband, Stacey created an amazing website, TastyBev.co, where anyone can submit tasty drinks to be featured on their site.

And this grapefruit paloma is Stacey’s favorite cocktail recipe. And I’m so glad she shared it with me. It’s now on my favorites list too. You’ll really love the freshness of this drink. The tartness of grapefruit juice is nicely balanced wit lime flavored soda water and, of course, tequila makes everything better! Stacey said she uses Trader Joe’s individual lime soda bottles, but since we don’t have Trader Joe’s around here, I used lime flavored Perrier.

I love that pretty blush color too! If you like sweeter drinks, a little bit of simple syrup would be perfect too.

Nice and refreshing grapefruit paloma with a little bit fizz. Amazing drink for spring and summer!

Hope you enjoy this drink soon. Cheers!
