A glass of this citrusy refreshing grapefruit sangria is just what you want to end your outdoor BBQ dinner with. This red sangria recipe is a keeper!
750ml Pinot Noir
Up to ½ cup
120ml simple syrup*
60ml orange liquor, such as Grand Marnier
Combine all the ingredients and refrigerate for 5-6 hours (no longer than 12 hours, or the wine will get a bit bitter taste). Adjust the simple syrup amount to your taste.
*To make the simple syrup, combine equal amount of water and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring it to a boil, stirring frequently until the sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool completely.
