Sweet and sour, cool and refreshing, nothing beats a cold glass of refreshing lemonade on a hot summer day. Try this kiwi lemonade for a refreshing tangy change!

Ingredients

Simple syrup:

  • 1 cup 240ml water
  • ¾ cup 150gr sugar

For lemonade:

  • 1 cup 240ml fresh lemon juice (4-6 lemons)
  • ½ cup 120ml kiwi juice* (4-5 kiwis)
  • 3 cups 720ml water
  • 1 ½ cups 360ml vodka, optional

Instructions

  • To make simple syrup, bring a cup of water to a boil in a medium saucepan.
  • Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Continue to boil for about 3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and cool completely.
  • In a large pitcher, combine lemon juice, kiwi juice and water.
  • Stir in simple syrup and enjoy!
  • To make hard lemonade, stir in vodka.

Notes

*You can either juice the kiwi or blend the fruit with a fork.
