Keep this simple scotch egg recipe handy when you make them for your next party, because everyone will be requesting it after they devour a few.

Boil 4 eggs in a saucepan. Pour off hot water & add cold water. Once cooled, peel the eggs.

Beat the remaining one egg in bowl. Place flour & panko in separate bowls as well.

Combine ground beef, garlic, cayenne pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce salt & pepper. Mix everything.

Divide the meat into 4 equal parts. Flatten the meat patties & place hard boiled eggs on each one.

Shape the meat around the egg. Pinch the seams together & roll it between your palms for a min squeezing out the air between the egg & meat & sealing the edges.

Now, roll each meat-wrapped eggs in the flour, then dip them in the beaten egg & finally roll them in the Panko.

Place the meat-wrapped eggs in skillet & brown slightly from all sides, about 1 min on each side.

Transfer onto the baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, or silicone mat. Bake for 15-20 mins.

For the sauce, whisk together mayo, sour cream, mustard and cayenne pepper sauce. Cut each Scotch egg into quarters & drizzle the sauce. Serve warm.
