Subtle, yet refreshing green juice packed with Vitamin A, iron and other terrific antioxidants.

Subtle, yet refreshing green juice packed with Vitamin A, iron and other terrific antioxidants.

I’m super excited right now, because I’m packing for my honeymoon. We are flying out to Hawaii tomorrow morning! There are number of things I’m excited about. Well, first of all, I’m looking forward to escape this below zero weather and enjoy beautiful 80F+ heaven on earth. I’m also excited about active volcanoes, botanical gardens, waterfalls, beaches, snorkeling, Mai Tais, pineapples and list goes on…  I’ll dedicate a post about the trip as soon as I’m back. Stay tuned.

If you would like instant updates, follow me on Instagram. 🙂

Let’s talking about juicing today. I’ve been juicing on and off for about year and half now. I love juicing. It’s always fun to experiment with different fruits and vegetables. Sometimes you get awesome juice, other times not so much, but still very nutritious. In case you’re curious, I use this Omega VRT350 Juicer. It’s pricey, but I think it’s totally worth it. You spend your hard-earned money on fruits and vegetables for juicing, and you want to get as much juice as you can get. I haven’t used cheaper juicers, but from my research I learned that high quality juicers yield more juice and more efficient. I strongly encourage you to research about different juicers on the market and choose what suits your needs the best. There are ton of videos on youtube comparing different juicers with different functions. Let me know if you would like me to write a review about my juicer, or if you have any questions.

Like I said I’ve been juicing for quite some time now, and one of my favorite juices is this simple pineapple spinach juice. All you need is pineapple and spinach, and a little bit of water, if you would like. I’m not going to lie and say you won’t taste spinach in this case. Oh yes, you will, but not too much. If you’re juicing for the first time, I would suggest trying something different like this tomato salad juice.

Pineapple Spinach Juice

Run spinach and pineapples through the juicer and some water if you feel the juice is too strong for you. You decide how much spinach and pineapple you want in your juice. I usually shoot for 50:50.

It’s really hard to describe this juice, all I can say is it’s very subtle and refreshing. If you like spinach, or if you are up for adventure, give this juice a try. It’s great! I can’t say enough good things about spinach. It truly is a magic leafy green that makes you strong and healthy. Do you remember Popeye, who eats spinach and gets very strong? Spinach is actually very rich in Vitamin A, iron, magnesium, and many other vitamins and minerals.

Enjoy!

Aww, thank you so much, Badamaa! I’m so glad you like reading my blog. Although I don’t have a Magic Bullet, I heard a lot of good things about it. And you can definitely used it for my juice recipe, the only thing different is that you get all the fibers. 🙂 And thank you for your warm wishes, our honeymoon started great! 🙂
