Gourmet Made Deliciously Simple

Pear Banana Smoothie

I hope you had Merry Christmas!

I love to indulge in all the goodies we prepare for holidays. Food is good, especially if it’s shared with your loved ones. So, I don’t worry about calories or anything like that during holidays. However, I eat light meals the day after overindulgence. My body naturally craves for something light. Yogurt parfait, green juice, fruit salad are usually my go-to breakfast choices. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with smoothies though. I got this awesome Ninja blender as an early Christmas present that has single serve blending cups. Oh, I’m so in love with this thing.

Pear Banana Smoothie

I wanted to share with you my latest favorite smoothie combination- Pear Banana Smoothie. When I have this smoothie for breakfast, I really don’t get hungry for very long time. Not sure if it’s Greek yogurt, or chia seeds, or maybe even the combination of two.

You don’t necessarily have to use honey-flavored Greek yogurt. I think it adds a little more flavor though. Original  Greek yogurt will do just fine.
