OMG, Happy 2018!!! How is it 2nd month of the new year already?!

Seriously, time is flying by so fast, but I’m trying to savor every minute of it. Hence my lack of appearance on the blog for the last couple of months. How have you been? Hope your year is off to a great start!

Before I start sharing new recipes, I thought we should catch up on life happenings.

I haven’t been cooking much in the kitchen lately, but I have been cooking something special. ↓↓

Ta-da!!!

I’m expecting my baby #2!!! I still feel surreal typing this (despite my growing belly!), but I’m now 16 weeks along. We’re SOOO beyond excited about our little nugget!

It hasn’t been an easy 1st trimester. I felt super exhausted ALL the time, even though I slept 12+ hours a day! I didn’t have severe morning sickness though, just light queasiness especially in the evenings. And just like with my first pregnancy, I had an aversion to computers. I didn’t want to do anything on my laptop, even reading blogs and scrolling through Facebook were no fun any more. So now you know why I haven’t been posting anything on the blog. 😉

But anyway, I’m feeling much better now, and I’m so excited to start sharing new recipes with you!

On another news, we just came back from our vacation in Kauai, Hawaii ( -> much need escape from the bitter cold ND winter!), and this picture is from our hotel room. I’ll share more vacation photos next week.

What Grant thinks about new baby? He’s warming up to the idea. Haha If you asked him if he wants a baby couple of weeks ago, he’d look at you with confusion and quickly say “NO!” Now, he doesn’t say “no”, and says “Hi” to the baby belly all the time. So precious! Oh, and he’s become extremely clingy lately, not sure if it’s anything to do with the baby.

And lastly, I want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for being here, for trying my recipes, for providing feedback and for just connecting with me through this blog! I absolutely love reading your reviews and seeing all the creations you’ve made from the blog!

These are the latest photos I received, and I just updated our community page! Keep them coming.

Last December, we hit a huge milestone and broke the record traffic-wise. This prime rib video and this divinity video went viral on Facebook, and it was a HUGE highlight of my holiday season. Again, thank you for making this job of mine so fun and rewarding! Without YOU, I wouldn’t be here. 🙂

Cheers is to amazing 2018!!!
